GILLIAN GOERZ (pronounced "Jillian Gertz") grew up in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, where she learned to appreciate space, fresh air, and a thriving art and drama community.
Gillian was trained in fine art, graphic design and illustration at the University of Saskatchewan, the Ontario College of Art and Design, and the prestigious school of Life Experience. Through this she has amassed a large arsenal of skills, including, but not limited to classical painting in acrylic, oil, watercolour and gouache, digital imaging, graphic design for print and web, editorial illustration, portraiture, caricature and cartooning.
Gillian's career has included marketing, copywriting, acting, singing and of course painting, graphic design and illustration. She currently lives and works as an illustrator, portrait artist and graphic designer in Toronto, Canada.
